What's an API, for anyone who wants the plain version?
An API is just a defined way for two computer systems to hand data to each other automatically — no human copying and pasting a headline from one place to another. In this case: the moment your newsroom confirms a story, your system could send Baud a small, structured message (headline, one-line summary, and a link to your article) instead of waiting for our monitoring to notice it independently on the open web.
Would this skip Baud's human review?
No. This is the one thing we won't change. A partner submission still lands as a pending draft in our internal review queue, same as anything our own monitoring detects — a person confirms it before any subscriber sees it. What partnering changes is speed and accuracy (you're telling us directly, instead of us finding out secondhand), not the review step itself.
Does our article stay the source?
Yes — that's the point. The notification's source link points to your original article, not a Baud-hosted summary. Subscribers who tap through for the full story land on your site.
Is this live today?
